JES students participated in a schoolwide handshake project on Tuesday. This was a fun, interactive way to show respect and tolerance as well as increasing bonds among students and the entire school community.
During this project students worked in groups of three. Two students shook hands, and shared both their differences as well as their connectedness, while the third student,"the cast master" wrapped the handshake with plaster.
Once the handshakes are dry they will be decorated and displayed in the school.
