Vermont adopts national physical
education standards!
Over the last few days physical education has been in the local news as Vermont adopts
national standards for physical education in order to align with common core and new grade level expectations.
I would like our JES families to know that I support the move, our school and
curriculum is standards based and aligned with the new national
standards. Jericho has a voice at the state level in physical
education as I have sat on the executive board and have been an
officer of the Vermont PE and Health Teachers association known as
VTAHPERD, since 2009.
